Water Treatment

Most homes and businesses use a water treatment system to treat problems like E. Coli, hard water, iron, fluoride, copper, chlorine, lead, and sulphur. The most important thing is to make sure that the water in your home is safe for you and your family. Water treatment removes impurities to improve water quality so it's suitable for everything, from drinking to bathing. There are many different types of water treatment solutions. The right one for your home depends on where your water comes from, where you live, the plumbing in your house and the needs of the people who live there.

DID YOU KNOW?

Your water should be tested every year!

Types of Filtration

Picture
Water Softeners
Designed to soften water and remove hard water minerals, such as Calcium and Magnesium. If you notice white deposits on your taps or fixtures, it's a great indication that you have hard water. Let us remove your build-up by adding a softener.

Ultraviolet Purification
An ultraviolet purification system is an environmentally friendly, low maintenance system that removes 99.99% of all bacteria without the use of chemicals, including bacteria such as E.coli. If your water test comes back positive for E.coli, we recommend eliminating the bacteria before using your water for drinking, cleaning or cooking. Bacteria like E.coli can cause serious health problems for you and your family.

Iron Filters
Does your water come from a well? Then you may notice orange or rust coloured staining, bad taste and odours on your taps and fixtures, known as Iron and Sulphur. Neither one of these chemicals are a health hazard. However, Sulphur is known to cause the "rotten egg" smell and Iron can damage your faucets if not treated and filtered.

Reverse Osmosis Systems
These systems are designed to remove contaminants such as sodium, fluoride, copper and lead. Most bottled water companies use reverse osmosis water to improve the taste and clarity of their water. We can easily install this system in your home so you can have the same great taste without the added chemicals.

We then send your sample to the lab, which takes about a week to get back.
This will determine what minerals and bacteria are in your water (if any).
Then we make a plan to eliminate and filter the bacteria to make the water clean and safe for you and your family.
